Los Angeles Airport Terminal 4 is exclusively used for American Airlines flights. Please note that American Airlines international flights arrive at Terminal 4 and TBIT, but the passengers disembarking is done at Tom Bradley International Terminal.
It’s a 10-minute walk at the most from the AA side of Terminal B to Terminal A. ( You can do the same thing from the departure level. No need to go down to baggage claim if you don’t have checked bags.)
You will have to take an inter- terminal bus to get to E , recheck in at the desk, then go through International Security and finally walk to your gate . The TAA recommends 3 hours for that.
Walkways connect terminals B , C and E, and there are regular shuttle buses that go to every terminal , as well as the airport MBTA station, the Logan boat dock and economy parking. Logan shuttle buses run 24 hours a day, stop at each terminal every 15 to 20 minutes and are wheelchair-lift equipped.
Always allow at least 20 minutes for security , but you can do a same-day check of screening line times at: http://www.whatsbusy.com/airport. Logan’s pre- security area is open 24 hours, but TSA security checkpoints typically open an hour before the first departure.
Re: Is it walkable from terminal A to terminal C airside? Nope. It will take you about 15 to walk and there is a bus too.
By the Massport shuttle bus services is possible to connect between terminals , the rental car center, the airport station on the MBTA Blue Line and the water transportation dock. Buses have a 5-6 minutes’ frequency, run 24/7 and stop at the curbside located on the lower level of each terminal .
