Most of Alaska is officially in the Alaska Time Zone , however, a portion of the Aleutian Islands that is west of 169 degrees 30 minutes west longitude observes the Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time Zone .
Since Anchorage , Alaska and Fairbanks , Alaska are in the same time zone , you can call someone during your normal hours and it will be the same time in Fairbanks , AK as it is in Anchorage , AK. This will be between 7AM – 11PM their time , since Fairbanks , Alaska is in the same time zone as Anchorage , Alaska.
