We had a very nice time on Santa Rosa Beach . Regardless of that, Santa Rosa Beach was beautiful – truly the white sand and warm water you expect from the gulf. There are plenty of small shops/eateries nearby, and a Publix is a 5 minute drive, so if you are beach -bound for the week you really don’t need much else.
