Overall, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a bit of a mixed bag depending upon your perspective, but we think it’s mostly good . The rooms are great , the pool is nice , and the dining is better than literally all of the other Moderate Resorts combined.
Preferred Room Locations: Preferred rooms are located Casitas 1, 2 and 3 which are close to the main building. GET A NO-OBLIGATION PACKAGE OR ROOM QUOTE! The rooms at Coronado Springs were refurbished in 2009, and are among the nicest of any of the moderate resorts.

Yes, it’s a pretty easy walk from the B Resort to Disney Springs . There are sidewalks and lights, so it’s safe and pedestrian friendly.
But it is true. There are some locations on the beach at Caribbean Beach resort near Old Port Royale where you can see most of Epcot Forever fireworks . And that’s not the only moderate with a fireworks view . . . over at Coronado Springs you have a pretty decent view , especially over by the Casitas section.
Caribbean Beach is more centrally located but it’s not a huge difference. Coronado Springs has queen sized beds in the rooms, Caribbean Beach has doubles. Rooms at Caribbean Beach are slightly larger, I believe by about 25 sq feet.
There are rooms at one end of Coronado Springs which are as much as a . 5 mile walk from other rooms at the same resort. To DISNEY’S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS: There are paved, lighted walkways. To EPCOT : There are paved, lighted walkways.
Coronado Springs ‘ pools range in depth from around 3 feet 6 inches/1.1m to 4 feet 9 inches/1.4m and are open every day, including winter. Pools are heated to 82F/28C throughout the year.
All rooms on property have completed their renovations and are available to guests.
The moderate resorts at Walt Disney World, including Coronado Springs Resort have refrigerators in the rooms . There is a cabinet inside the dresser that houses the refrigerator . Room amenities also include a coffee maker.

over a year ago. The first bus stop is at the lobby, then onto the convention center and then to the rooms. It circled counter clockwise when I was there, so the first room area would be the 4100-4467 room area. We stayed in the 8B area and there was the last bus stop in between 8A & 8B.

Even with limited functionality, many guests still find MagicBands to be worth the investment. The MagicBand is a great innovation for resort hotel guests, but even though they’re not essential for offsite guests, it’s your call.
Disney Springs is much larger, by far. You’ll find more shopping, dining, and entertainment options there. If you are visiting for the day, you’ll still find plenty to do. The Disney Boardwalk , on the other hand, is a nice, small spot to walk around.
