In an open letter addressed to the Denver community, Denver Arts & Venues Executive Director Ginger White said several popular venues, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre , will close unless being used for COVID-19 relief programs.

1. Red Rocks Hiking Trails. The Trading Post Trail is a 1.4-mile loop that takes visitors around the park’s trademark rock formations, while the Red Rocks Trail connects with Matthew Winters Park to the north for a dramatic 6-mile hike. The Red Rocks Trail can also connect with the Dakota Ridge Trail to the east.
A ride that might typically cost less and $20 can easily balloon to more than $40 one way. Without surge pricing , however, both Uber and Lyft gave a fare estimate of $25 each way. COST: Starts at around $50 round trip, but beware of surge pricing .
Red Rocks permits food and non- alcoholic beverages but limits coolers to a six-pack size. Food must fit in a gallon-size clear plastic bag.
Origin Red Rocks Hotel is a three-mile drive from Red Rocks ‘ Trading Post, making it the closest hotel to the venue. It’s the official partner of the amphitheater as well, providing customized services, amenities and design choices catered to concert -goers.
This venue is a favorite among many performers because of its near-perfect acoustic surroundings. It is one-of-a-kind and its excellent acoustics are a result of the two giant monoliths that surround the seating area. Dubbed the Ship Rock and the Creation Rock, the sandstone structures are taller than Niagara Falls.
Red Rocks Amphitheater The park, about 35 minutes outside of Denver, opens an hour before sunrise and closes one hour after sunset, giving visitors the opportunity to watch both. Check the calendar to make sure there is not a special event, like a concert, that would make it difficult to find parking.
The fee for a private, non-ticketed event (such as a wedding , bar mitzvah or cult ritual) is $100,000 during concert season — which runs from May to September — and that price doesn’t include the labor and equipment required to host an event at Red Rocks . Nonprofits are charged $10,000.
