If you want more, consider planning a day -trip island hop. If you want a quick rule of thumb, to see and experience the major highlights of each island, you’re going to need at least four days for Molokai and Lanai and five days minimum for Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii’s Big Island.
4-6 days should do you well in Oahu. It depends on what all that you want to see while you are there. I went there in September of 2004 and spent 8 days, for me this was too many. I came back in March of 2005 and stayed 5 days , which was not enough!
