Generally, the best weather in Hawaii can be experienced in June, July and September. This is when travelers can expect the least amount of rainfall along with warm water temperatures. However, Hawaii has pretty great weather year -round (after all, the Aloha State experiences only two seasons).
Average humidity in Hawaii is highest in the morning and decreases as the day wears on. For example, in Lihue, Kauai, in January, the humidity level is 81 percent, while in mid-afternoon it is 66 percent. In Honolulu in July , the morning humidity level is 67 percent while in the afternoon, it is 51 percent.
The summer months of July and early August will be the warmest and some of the busiest on Maui . With school being out on most of the mainland, families often visit during this portion of the year. September, by contrast, is a great time to visit if you want to avoid crowds.

Hawaii’s Weather When it’s raining on one side of an island in Hawaii , though, the sun is usually shining on another, a short drive away. However, if the priority is to avoid heavy downpours in traditionally fun-in-the-sun locations such as Waikiki, Poipu, Kona and Kihei, the worst time to go is November through April.

Summer weather with low rainfall levels, along with great festivals make July a great time to visit Hawaii . Though the Hawaiian Islands will have a near peak number of visitors, hotel rates tend to be above average. On the downside, flights tend to be fairly expensive in July .
Current Situation. Hurricane season in the Central Pacific region (where Hawaii is located) runs from June 1 to November 30 (though these tropical cyclones can occur any time of the year ).

There’s a dry season that corresponds to summer (Apr–Oct) and a rainy season in winter (Nov–Mar). It rains every day somewhere in the islands at any time of the year, but the rainy season can bring enough gray weather to spoil your tanning opportunities.
Hawaii Weather in July July is second only to June when it comes to the lowest levels of rainfall. Not only will you encounter less rain, but you will also enjoy near perfect daytime temperatures that remain in the mid to low 80s. That is the ideal weather for activities and visiting the local sights.
While many vacations are five to seven days long, we recommend staying for at least 10 days to enjoy your Hawaiian vacation. The time change is difficult to adjust to at first and takes about 3 days to get fully acclimated. So, allowing a couple days to get over the jet lag is important.
