Kalāheo (literally, “the proud day” in Hawaiian ) is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Kauaʻi County , island of Kauaʻi , Hawaiʻi , United States.
The Hawaiian Word of the Day is Kalaheo . Kalaheo is the name of two towns: one on the Southern shore of Kauai in Koloa, and the other on Oahu’s East side in Kailua. Kalaheo is three words in one. Ka meaning the; la meaning day; and heo; meaning proud.
