Which Island Is Pearl Harbor On? Pearl Harbor is located at the Southern end of the island of Oahu. It is the 2nd oldest of the main 4 Hawaiian Islands with the Big Island being the youngest. Pearl Harbor is open every day.

The USS Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor’s most popular historical site, hosts a program that takes about 75 minutes to complete.
Pearl Harbor National Memorial is a free site, although there is a $1 service charge collected by recreation.gov to reserve tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial program.

Depart Kona on a 40 minute flight to Honolulu International Airport, where a tour guide will greet you at the airport and begin your tour of Pearl Harbor. To go from Waikiki to Pearl Harbor you can just wait at one of the stops along Kuhio Ave or at Ala Moana Center. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. To go from another part of the island to Pearl Harbor , you should be prepared for a longer ride with multiple transfers.

The line starts in Waikiki at T Galleria Hawaii, where all five Waikiki Trolley lines intersect. The seventh stop of the route, after the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel, Aqua Palms Waikiki , Ala Moana Center, and Aloha Stadium (Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday only), the Waikiki Trolley’s Purple Line arrives at Pearl Harbor .
While only bottled water is permitted on the actual tour, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Concessions are available for purchase on-site as well.”
Entry to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is free, including access to our two museums (“Road to War” and the “Attack Gallery”) and exhibits along the harbor . Tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial are free.
Reserve your tickets for late morning or mid-afternoon to avoid the biggest crowds. The last program begins at 3:00 pm. June through August and the winter holidays are the busiest time of year in Honolulu. Go off-season if you want to avoid the crowds.
