The 80-year-old Osborne , retired and living in Lincoln, has been a regular at home games in the box since taking over as Nebraska’s athletic director in October 2007.
He coached 53 All-Americans, including 1983 Heisman Trophy winner Mike Rozier. Osborne’s 1995 national championship team is considered by many to be the best in college football history.
