Meanwhile, the cleanest are Stuy Town in Manhattan, Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill in Brooklyn, Co-op City in the Bronx , Springfield Gardens in Queens and Grymes Hill in Staten Island .
Staten Island
The Hispanic population predominates in northern Manhattan, the Bronx, Elmhurst/Corona area, north and east Brooklyn, and parts of Staten Island. White New Yorkers predominate in Lower and Upper Manhattan, Riverdale, Staten Island, much of southern Brooklyn, and parts of west Brooklyn.
For a very, very few people, Staten Island is worth exploring. If you are someone who idolizes Garibaldi, you can go visit the house where he lived while in exile from Italy. If your main artistic interest is Tibetan Art, there is a nice little museum of such tucked away on Todt Hill.

Statistically the safest borough to live in crime -wise, Staten Island still has a lot of kills, the Dutch word for creek. There’s Fresh Kills, Arthur Kill, the Kill Van Cull, and my favorite, Great Kills.
