The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) have CLOSED I- 94 westbound and eastbound lanes from Bismarck to Fargo due to strong winds causing blowing and drifting snow, areas of zero visibility, and life-threatening driving conditions .
The North Dakota Department of Transportation has now closed I- 29 from the South Dakota border to the Canadian border. No Travel Advisory remains in effect for much of ND . Cities now included in the No Travel Advised are Valley City, Jamestown, Ashley, Ellendale, Edgeley, and surrounding areas.
NO TRAVEL ADVISED Motorists should not travel due to hazardous conditions which may make it unsafe to travel . A NO TRAVEL ADVISED has the potential to change to a ROAD CLOSED OR BLOCKED if conditions deteriorate.

Hwy 29 is open . Hwy 20 is open . New Long Valley Road is open , but remains at risk of closure due to slides, ¼ mile north of intersection with Hwy 20. The Lake County DPW has a crew on scene that will monitor and remove debris overnight should slide activity continue.
