Oregon State Parks and campgrounds will remain open, and visitors should continue to wear face coverings and give plenty of space to others. However, formal garden areas like Shore Acres State Park, follow the capacity limits for outdoor entertainment venues.
Is overnight camping allowed on Oregon Coast beaches ? Overnight camping is allowed on sections of the Oregon Coast , not adjacent to Oregon State Parks, not within the city limits of Cannon Beach , Lincoln City, Seaside, Newport, Bandon, Gold Beach , Rockaway Beach and Manzanita.
OREGON STATE PARKS BEACH FIRE BAN Valve-operated propane fire pits are allowed in coastal parks and on beaches . No beach fires (wood, charcoal or other open flames) allowed on any ocean beach . Campfires are not allowed in day-use area fire rings in coastal parks.
No other section of the central Oregon coast allows driving on beaches , including Gleneden Beach , Lincoln Beach , Depoe Bay, Newport, Waldport and Yachats – or the 20 miles of beaches between there and Florence. Just south of Florence, some drivable spots exist at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
You can purchase a 12-month parking permit for $30, or a 24-month parking permit for $50 online, from most major state park offices, or from vendors all over the state . The permit is transferable among vehicles.

Small fires are only allowed in dry, open sand. You need to be downwind and safely clear of the grass and driftwood lines. No fires are allowed in the dunes. In the case of dry or windy conditions, signs may be posted temporarily prohibiting beach fires .

Multnomah Falls is open to a limited number of visitors on first-come, first-serve basis from 9 a.m.–6 p.m. daily. Benson Bridge, the trail to the top of the falls and the loop trail to Wahkeena Falls all remain closed.
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department said most campgrounds will be offering limited tent and RV reservations to stay overnight on a first-come, first-served basis starting June 9. Camping has been closed at state parks since March 23 to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
