Seaside is just more kitsch – more traditional Seaside resort. Much more to do for kids and families, but there’s also more noise. For those without the kids or families looking for a mellower experience with better scenery, Cannon Beach is a no-brainer. Not much to do though, outside of beach time, just to be mellow.
