Click “ Register Now” to register for a class online. After logging in with your LDS Account, you’ll see a list of classes and be able to register for the one that interests you. Ask your local priesthood leaders—they can help you find a local institute program or class.
All young adults, ages 18–30, married or single, can attend institute .
Students who qualify for graduation must complete at least 14 credits of institute courses: 4 Cornerstone courses (8 total credits) and 3 elective courses (6 total credits). To complete a course, students must satisfy (1) attendance, (2) assigned course reading, and (3) Elevate Learning Experience (ELE) requirements.
An Institute of Religion is a local organization that provides religious education for young adults (ages 18–30) who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ( LDS Church). Institute classes are offered on campus at LDS higher education institutions, such as BYU.
Avoid Utah County if you are not Mormon . Nice places to live in Salt Lake County are Sandy, South Jordan, some parts of Murray, and the Salt Lake County side of Draper. Tooele has a large military presence, so its an okay place for non- mormons to live also. West Valley & Rose park areas are high crime.

Seminary is a worldwide, four-year religious educational program for youth ages 14 through 18. It is operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but is open to teenagers of all faiths. In seminary , students and their teachers meet each weekday during the school year to study scripture.
An institute is an organisational body created for a certain purpose. They are often research organisations (research institutions) created to do research on specific topics. An institute can also be a professional body, or an educational unit imparting vocational training—see Mechanics’ Institutes .
